Anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma and eating disorders are amongst the issues that bring people to seek help. A number of problems can be  alleviated with a short term approach.

Other clients who are wanting to change lifelong relationship patterns, find it helpful to enter into long term psychotherapy. In psychoanalytic psychotherapy the relationship with the therapist is used to reveal and understand habitual ways of connecting with others. In a consistent, containing space, these patterns can be identified and new ways of engaging with others explored. As trust and understanding develop, the client is likely to set new goals and work on broader issues.
